How to Hide a user or Distribution Group from Exchange Address List

Hiding Distribution Group is always required from managers and sometimes hiding distribution group or user is a useful rather than restrict senders. Because people in companies are always changing and adding or removing users to restriction list is a manual job.

In this scenario, I have a distribution group which needs to be hidden from address list.

Open Microsoft Exchange Server management Console and go to

Microsoft Exchange On-Premises>

Recipient Configuration>

Distribution Group>

and choose your distribution group that you want customize and right click on it and open properties

Click Advanced Tab and select Hide group from Exchange address list
